2021 NFL mock draft: Crazy trades spark historic run on QBs, more big surprises(4)

30. Buffalo Bills: Eric Stokes, CB, Georgia

Eric Stokes is another 2021 NFL Draft prospect who elevated his stock thanks to his Pro Day performance. Cornerbacks standing at 6-foot-1 already catch the interest and that is taken to a new level when they run a 4.3 40-yard dash. Stokes is an outstanding athlete with instincts that will come along very nicely. As the No. 2 cornerback opposite Tre’Davious White, he could thrive in Buffalo’s defense. – Matt Johnson
31. Kansas City Chiefs: Liam Eichenberg, OT, Notre Dame

Losing starting tackles Eric Fisher and Mitchell Schwartz is bad news for Kansas City. Although the Chiefs beefed up the interior of their offensive line by signing guards Joe Thuney and Kyle Long in free agency, they need someone to help on the edges. That’s where Eichenberg comes in. He’s a pure left tackle prospect who had a productive career at Notre Dame and should make Patrick Mahomes feel a little better about his blindside protection, even when Eichenberg is a rookie. — Matt Fitzgerald
32. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Christian Barmore, DT, Alabama

Tampa Bay is retaining all 22 of its starters from the Super Bowl run, creating tons of options in the 2021 NFL Draft. There’s a case to be made for a wide receiver, but why not make the NFL’s best defense even stronger. Barmore is the lone first-round talent at the position, capable of eating up blocks and collapsing the interior pocket. He’d be a quality addition for Tampa Bay’s defense and it’s a safe bet he is available at No. 32. – Matt Johnson
